// personal project | running daily

job-triage

A daily pipeline for my own job search. It reads job boards, scores every posting against a written profile of me and puts the few worth a look on a Notion board. My verdicts on that board teach the next run.

It never applies anywhere. It decides what deserves my attention, shows its reasoning, and measures whether it was right.

Python | Claude API | Notion API | GitHub Actions | running daily since Oct 2026

How it works

  1. SearchedEvery morning a GitHub Actions job searches the Bundesagentur für Arbeit API and Hamburg job boards with the queries I chose.
  2. Filtered (ƒ)Python drops postings outside my area, recruiter aggregator pages, reposts of the same job and everything already seen.
  3. Scored (AI)Claude scores each posting against my written profile, with a one-line reason and a one-line view of the company's situation. The profile weighs what I would learn above the job title.
  4. LearnedMy decisions become a feature index. A word I reject three times goes on a stop-list, which runs in shadow mode for 14 days before it acts. Generic words like “manager” can't be learned.
  5. MeasuredA scoreboard per search query, emailed every Monday, shows which searches earn their place. In the first week it showed three search terms that produced nothing worth applying to.

The code is public, without my profile, with an agent quick start to set it up for your own search. Code on GitHub
